The KCL Beauty Edit

Welcome to another KCL Beauty Edit! I've really loved so many of the beauty and makeup products I tried last month. There is usually at least one dud in the bunch that I reluctantly have to give a bad review, but I have something good to say about each one of these products. A few of them I very highly recommend, so grab a cup of coffee and check it all out. If you have a question about any of the products mentioned, please leave it below in the comments section. And if you don't have time to read this, you can skip ahead and listen to my video review here while you work or whatever. Enjoy!

The new skincare line I tried last month was from LHB Natural Skincare, which included a facial wash and two different facial serums. I recently posted about LHB in an anti-aging skincare routine blog and video to show how I use each of these products. Of course I started with the facial wash, which I really loved. The LHB Coconut & Sea Clay Mineral Face Wash is great for any skin type…

Gift Guide: Girly Gardening Gifts for Mom

I love to give a thematic or hobby-based gift, especially for Mother's Day. If your mom has a green thumb, you can surprise her with some new gardening gear. However when buying someone a gift tailored to her favorite hobby, you run the risk of buying mom something she already has. But if you go for an item that is as beautiful as it is functional, your mother will love it either way.

Moms tend to splurge on others and save when it comes to themselves, so find one high-quality gift that your mother can use and appreciate for years to come. If you go with a gardening tote/organizer, new planter, or a beautiful watering can, it can double as a gift basket that can be filled with seeds and bulbs or even edible gifts like tea and sweet snacks. You can assemble your own or get a pre-filled tote or watering jug like the one featured here. Simply click the links below to shop the other featured gardening gifts.

  1. My mother loved to garden, but these days her arthritis has pretty much put an end to that.

  2. Aw, that stinks! I love to garden in theory, but I'm not very good at it. I'm a bit of a plant killer!

  3. Not just girlie but very trendy. I'm no gardener but these pieces make me want to garden just to have them!

  4. Such fun gifts. anything in pink is a fun gift to me, though.

  5. I agree, girlie and trendy! These are such brilliant gifts - especially the Pink Apron filled with Gardening tools; we sell it on our website and it's a best seller. The Mother's Day Gardening Gift Basket is a fab idea, I know my Mum would love to receive that!
