25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. Two Looks for a New Year's Eve Party

If you're attending a New Year's Eve party in the city, a dress is the way to go. New Year's Eve is the perfect opportunity to wear as much glitter, shimmer, and sequins as your heart desires. While you could wear a little black dress to a party, my top pick for a New Year's Eve bash is a long-sleeved sequin dress. Pair it with opaque black tights, simple black pumps, and a hard-case clutch.

If you're going to a New Year's Eve bonfire in the country, something ironically I'd never done before until I moved to the city, this second look is perfect. When I lived in Maryland, a friend with a country home invited me to her annual bonfire during which guests could bring their Christmas trees to dispose of in the fire. This featured look is actually based on what I wore - my black skinny jeans with black riding boots and a sweater, a warm printed scarf, and my red wool coat.

Where will you be on New Year's? Of course if you're celebrating New Year's Eve in the comforts of your own home, pull on your favorite pj's and fluffy slippers! Happy New Year!
