Blogger Style: NYFW Fall 2018

NYFW has come and gone, though the beautiful street style looks continue to grace my Instagram feed, and I am loving it! I don't know how these bloggers do it...running from show to show, and add to that the parties, sponsor events, fittings, and meetings. Yet they still have time to churn out content for readers as well. Anyone who thinks blogging isn't a job knows absolutely nothing about blogging! These ladies are so inspiring, not just with their killer style, but with their self-made and much earned successes. Here are just a few of my faves and a snippet of the top looks from the concrete runway. Enjoy!

Aimee Song from Song of Style is my all-time fave. She has the best fashion week videos, and as you can see, is just so cool. I love that her style is always inspirational yet relatable. Song incorporates unique trends and top brands but styles them in a way that isn't too out there. She often has the most exquisite accessory details, as you can also see above, and i…

Three Little Black Dresses for Your New Year's Eve Bash

by The Accessorizer via ASOS Fashion Finder
If you're going to a dressy New Year's Eve party, you don't have to deck yourself out in glitter or sequins. The little black dress is still a cocktail-party fashion staple. The three black dresses pictured above are young, fun, and add instant chic to any look. I love how they offer more coverage up top and flow outward from the waist; they're perfect for flattering a pear-shaped figure.

These little black party dresses are the perfect backdrop for sequin and glittered heels. (From left to right) the LOVE Black Marcella Skater Dress has just a hint of sequin in the front panel. For New Year's Eve, it can be paired with neutral glitter accessories in silver, gold, or even colors like pink or blue.

The edgier little black dress in the middle is a great opportunity to sport some studded heals. Studded accessories are a huge trend this year. Just don't go crazy and wear studded shoes, studded jewelry, and a studded purse all at once. Mix things up with a girly gold clutch. Each of the dresses can be finished off with a shimmering hard-case clutch.

The final little black dress is the most versatile of the three. Take advantage of the solid black dress as an opportunity to wear fun, daring heels. I'd go with patterned sequin heels like the multi-colored sequin ASOS pumps pictured above. You could also pair the solid black keyhole dress with something ultra feminine, like these black-lace ALDO Whetten - Women Peep-toe Pumps (pictured right).

For pairing jewelry with these little black dresses, I'd steer clear of necklaces and stick with flashy drop earrings and stacked bracelets and cuffs. To shop those specific items featured above, click here, or shop the additional accessories below.
