3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

Girl Power! Five Movies That Will Make You Feel Fabulous

Five Feel-Good Chick Flicks

1. The Devil Wears Prada  2. Disney's Brave  3. Mirror Mirror  4. Katy Perry: Part of Me  5. Pitch Perfect

It's a ritual in my home to watch movies every weekend. It's the perfect way to snuggle up and unwind, and if you're in a funk, it's the perfect way to perk up. These are some of my favorite girl-power movies. I know, some of them seem cheesy, but they all have one central theme - a strong gal who works hard to get what she wants. The Devil Wears Prada is a movie I could watch over and over. Brave is a great family-movie option if you like to spend movie night with the little ones (like I do). And I have to say, while I rented the Katy Perry movie for my oldest daughter, I ended up loving it. It shows how she didn't become a success overnight, but rather worked hard for years and years and continues to work extremely hard for the success that she has. Mirror Mirror starring Lilly Collins is another great family movie that both kids and adults can enjoy. Pitch Perfect is cheesy but in a good way. It's a cute and funny movie that is guaranteed to boost your mood.

Have you seen any of these? Which one is your favorite?
