KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! I've got one beautiful small biz to share with you today, and then I'm doing things a bit differently for today's Friday Finds. I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with complimentary goodies this week, and I wanted to take this time to share my favorites with you. I'll be doing an unboxing video featuring the sample items, to post next week! But first, I did want to share one gorgeous shop with you guys. Check it all out below! Pictured above are some handwoven home goods by Melody Fulone. Her shop is full of unique and beautifully woven wall hangings, pillows, many other home accessories; and even a bit of fiber art jewelry. I really love the neutral colors and the modern designs.

Shop the 2018 Winter Collection. And keep an eye out for a DIY kit for a crochet wall hanging in a few weeks. Melody will also be releasing her spring collection in late March!

This next brand will go into both an unboxing as well as a B…

Valentine's Day Gift Guide for Kids: The Ultimate Girly Grab Bag

Shop Valentine's Day Plush
I used to get my girls a Valentine's Day basket each year, similar to an Easter basket, filled with small Valentine's Day items like craft supplies, hair accessories, and the obligatory Valentine's Day stuffed animal. This year I'm doing something similar only with a pink canvas tote in place of the basket. All those cheap holiday tubs and baskets end up wasting space and not being of any real use, but a sturdy reusable tote bag, that I know my girls will use. I picked up two pink canvas bags from the crafts store and filled each with their favorite girly things - nail polish, hair clips, candy hearts, bracelets, crafts supplies, and a stuffed animal.

You don't have to spend a lot, a trip to the dollar store or drug store can help you fill their Valentine's Day bags with plenty of girly gifts. I often purchase holiday party favors that come with several in a pack, like mini notepads. With small items like those, you don't have to worry about price vs. quality since the kids will use them up quickly anyway. I also like to save money by getting them things they always need anyway, like more craft supplies. It's a perfectly affordable way for me to make Valentine's Day special for my girls.
