St. Patrick's Day 2013 is on Sunday, March 17th. It began in Ireland to observe the death of St. Patrick, who used the 3-leafed clover to symbolize the holy trinity. In the modern world, the shamrock has become the national symbol of Ireland, and to many it represents luck. The clover doesn't usually come to mind whenever I think of interior design, but it is in fact a design element, and I think it looks great, especially with modern decor.
