3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

Did you remember to set your clocks forward last night? The official first day of Spring for 2013 is only ten days away. Despite our latest snow storm on the east coast, the spring flowers are blooming here in Maryland, so I'm ready to look forward to Spring - the Easter bunny, flowers, butterflies, sundresses and sandals. Bring it on!

  1. I set most of the clocks in the house forward. Not that I wanted to!

    Saskatchewan doesn't have it, and I know in the States, Arizona and Hawaii don't have it, and a handful of other possessions. Lucky sods!

    1. I usually stay in on Sundays so it doesn't really affect me, but it did freak me out this morning when my phone automatically updated and I thought I'd slept past 9am.

  2. Set them the night before. We had a huge flock of red wings and grackles come back this morning--a sure sign of spring around here!
