VLOG: Everyday Spring Makeup

I've put together a quick and easy makeup look with my new purple eye shadow for Spring. Thanks to Pantone, ultraviolet is the top color trend for 2018, and I love it! I've been incorporating all different shades from a pastel lavender to a darker plum, and I think it goes together perfectly with pink for Spring. You can find the links to all of the products used below, and don't forget to get your own free sample of the L'BRI skincare system!

Celebrating the Cherry Blossom in Fashion

Celebrating the Cherry Blossom

I'm doing a lot of cherry blossom layout this week in celebration of the D.C. cherry blossom festival. Iunfortunately won't make it out to see the beautiful pink and white buds, but thankfully there are many cherry trees blooming here in Frederick as well.

Yesterday I featured a cherry blossom themed Mother's Day gift guide. Today I'm celebrating cherry blossom inspired fashion. From dresses to cherry blossom scarves to jewelry, there is no shortage of beautiful flower-print fashion in gorgeous shades of pink.

    1. I can't wait to get pics of the blossoms this weekend!

  2. Headed up that way from Alabama for the weekend! Actually staying in Fredericksburg. Any must see suggestions??

    1. Oh boy, for just a weekend, I wouldn't know where to start. There is soooo much to do here. You could swing over to Alexandria to see Mt. Vernon if you love history. If you want to do some major shopping, check out Tyson's Corner. And the cherry blossoms just hit peek bloom, so you definitely want to spend some time in DC. If you have time for just a few museums, definitely the smithsonian natural history and american history museums. The Natural History museum is great because the lines move pretty quickly. If you like modern history, don't miss the Hirshorn in DC. I could go on and on. So much to do here!
