KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! I am super excited to share some new Friday Finds with you! It's a bit of a mix, as we all seem to be anticipating Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas all at once now. Though I'm trying my hardest to live in the moment with pumpkins and autumn decor. I know after Halloween, everyone will be all about Christmas, but we should slow down and enjoy the harvest decor up to Thanksgiving, don't you think? As always, there are a few printables in the mix for last-minute decor, as well as some products for my fellow wine lovers, and some more awesome discounts that were created just for you Friday Finds readers!! 🙂🍂 So you know the drill, grab a cup of coffee and sit down for a break, so you can relax and browse these amazing shops.

First let's kick things off with this week's featured candle. I just have to feature a candle each week. It's the perfect season to cozy up with a good book and flickering candle light. A scented candle is also th…

Summer Style Guide: 5 Different Looks for A Day at the Vineyard

White tank, $23 / Alice + Olivia alice olivia / Zara flat sandals / Cole Haan Izzie straw summer clutch / GUESS by Marciano layered bead bracelet / Kenneth Cole gold drop earrings / STELLA McCARTNEY nude cat eye sunglasses, $220

The bare midriff trend is super hot for summer 2013. A summer trip to an outdoor location is the perfect opportunity to try out the trend. You don't have to be incredibly skinny to pull off the look. When worn correctly, this trend shows a small sliver of skin and shows it at the smallest part of the torso, a few inches below the bra line. To tone down the look, pair a simple white cropped top with a high-waisted skirt and flat sandals.

Summer blazer, $38 / Dorothy Perkins black romper / Steve Madden black Sysco sandals / Forever 21 lightweight handbag / White House Black Market cluster earrings / Akira printed hat

Rompers are also very trendy this summer. It's a great way to keep cool in the heat. If you get chilly inside with air conditioning, you can layer on a light blazer.

Red Cut-out Skater dress, $20 / See by Chloé gold/tan flat ankle-strap sandals / Charlotte Russe straw purse / Amrita Singh jewellery / Vera Bradley over sized sunglasses

A cut-out or peekaboo dress is another huge summer trend this year. A nice outdoor destination like a vineyard is a great time to try the trend. You can always make a cut-out dress more conservative with layers. I love how the cut-out dress featured above also incorporates this season's fit and flare trend.

Topshop white sleeveless lace blouse / Haute Hippie patterned shorts / Nine West Vilta wedge sandals in black / Elle shoulder strap purse / Pim + Larkin rhinestone bangle / Accessorize statement necklace / Kate Spade black cat eye sunglasses

If you want to be comfy at the vineyard this summer but still be in dressy-casual attire, try out the printed shorts trend. Pair it with a nice blouse, cuffed wedges, and a summer statement necklace. Printed shorts are perfect if you need something for a semi-casual summer event, because you can dress them down with a tank and flat T-strap sandals later.

Mossimo high low dress / Coach charm bracelet / Lara Bohinc long pendant necklace / Floppy hat / LOFT Ashlyn Colorblocked Slingback Wedge Sandals / Elliott Lucca Bali '89 Flap Satchel

If you're still not sure what to wear to the vineyard this summer, or if you don't feel comfortable trying out the latest summer trends, go with a classic sundress and wedges. It'll look great with a floppy hat and can be layered with a blazer or shawl. The hi-low dress featured above is only $25 at Target.
