KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to KCL Friday Finds! Today's shopping guide is full of affordable beauty-themed stocking stuffers. Don't get me wrong, I love to get candy and chocolates in my stocking, but I also love other gifts, like a cute new pair of socks and especially little beauty products.

A beauty stocking stuffer doesn't have to cost a lot. Between individual sheets masks and bath bombs  to lip balm and nail polish, you can find so many great options under $10. Several options below are even under $5.

The most universal of stocking stuffers, aside from candy, is lip balm. When given as a gift, go with something more luxurious than a Cherry Chapstick from the grocery store. My favorite lip balms at Bua Organics are all-natural and organic and come in options like Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil. For a moisturizing lip balm with the addition of a fun scent, try Einstein Bath Co., for flavors like Sangria, Marshmallow, and Pink Frosting.

A wonderful way to give a luxury beauty…

Jennifer Lawrence on the Cover of VOGUE's Big Fall Fashion Issue

It's my favorite time of year - the fall fashion issues are out! The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence was the perfect choice for VOGUE's big fall fashion issue (on news stands now). The actress sported a new haircut and some winter tweeds for the shoot. The Ralph Lauren coat in the second photo just screams fall fashion. Here's a behind the scenes video of Lawrence's shoot for VOGUE.

In the interview with Vogue, Lawrence talked about not being comfortable with fame yet, nor the relentless paparazzi. “Right now I’m just a big fan of windows,” she said. “I stand at my window at my hotel in Montreal. Like it will be hours. It’s the only time I can look at big groups of people, and they’re not looking at me.”

Though she also kept it light-hearted and funny. On discussing how she grew up, she said “I think all mothers are a nightmare—I don’t think you can have children and not lose your goddamn mind."
