It about the time when you may have several seasonal parties and functions to attend, and you should never show up empty-handed. A hostess gift doesn't need to cost a lot. They can range anywhere from $10-$25, and really should be on average $20. Pic of the Week: Back to School

My friend and photographer Clare Ahalt took some fun shots of her son Caden for back to school this week. She used props like a children's book and his name printed on a chalk board, though my favorite was her use of this old-fashioned school desk. How amazing do those red shoes look on top of the desk? Visit Clare Ahalt Photography to see the full shoot and get inspired for your own back to school pics. She gives really great tips on how to get natural smiles out of your children for much better photos.

My oldest daughter is starting 4th grade this Monday, and my last baby is going off to Kindergarten. Do you have any munchkins going back to school this month?
