KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to KCL Friday Finds! Today's shopping guide is full of affordable beauty-themed stocking stuffers. Don't get me wrong, I love to get candy and chocolates in my stocking, but I also love other gifts, like a cute new pair of socks and especially little beauty products.

A beauty stocking stuffer doesn't have to cost a lot. Between individual sheets masks and bath bombs  to lip balm and nail polish, you can find so many great options under $10. Several options below are even under $5.

The most universal of stocking stuffers, aside from candy, is lip balm. When given as a gift, go with something more luxurious than a Cherry Chapstick from the grocery store. My favorite lip balms at Bua Organics are all-natural and organic and come in options like Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil. For a moisturizing lip balm with the addition of a fun scent, try Einstein Bath Co., for flavors like Sangria, Marshmallow, and Pink Frosting.

A wonderful way to give a luxury beauty…

Beauty Trends: The Hottest Lip Colors for Fall/ Winter 2013-14

There were so many wearable fall beauty trends from the runway shows earlier this spring. The top-trending makeup colors seen on the models at Danijo and Dolce and Gabbana (pictured above) included classic cat eyes and dark red lips in shades of wine and berry. The dark red shade is perfect for fall.

Redheads, go for a berry shade that has a classic red punch to it. Brunettes and black-haired women can pull off the darker wine shades the best.

  1. Wine and berry?

I'm completely out of my element on this one!

  2. Those are deep shades! I don't think I could pull it off. I love red lipstick but I don't wear it well... at all.

    Wishing you a lovely day.
