25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. New York Fashion Week Spring 2014: The Best of Street Style

As New York Fashion Week comes to a close (and my carpal tunnel is flaring up), my favorite thing to do is catch up on all of the beautiful street style shots by fashion photography giants like Tommy Ton, Phil O, and Bill Cunnigham. They capture the catwalk, but more importantly they capture how the leaders in fashion- editors, stylists, designers, models, and bloggers wear the season's top trends in real life...or they're version of real life anyway.

What's more beautiful is the diversity, much like the thriving yin and yang of the people of New York. On the same sidewalk (glamorous in the movies though cluttered with scaffolding in real life) you find the socialite in a pencil skirt and perfectly pointed pumps next to the young model in her cut-off denim and studded boots, both equally stylish. I love you, New York.
