KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to a brand new Friday Finds! I hope you enjoyed this month's Fall beauty edit that I shared earlier this week, and I look forward to sharing more seasonal beauty picks as well as more Fall fashion and holiday decor. This week's picks include a wide variety; from the cutest Halloween dog toy and Halloween mugs and as always some wonderful beauty picks for the perfect relaxing weekend. NYFW Spring 2014 got off to a rocky start for me. The gowns were beautiful as always, though the casual pieces were way to over-sized and slouchy for my taste. As the week went on, and I saw my favorite American designers like Rachel Zoe, Michael Kors, and Rebecca Minkoff; my fashionable spirits were lifted. I love to look at artistic couture, but I prefer runway shows that are filled with classic wearable pieces, because those are the pieces which translate to real life and trickle down into the rest of fashion retail the following season.

Michael Kors never ever disappoints. He finds the perfect balance between designing for a woman, yet designing pieces that are equally appealing to men. His Spring 2014 collection was romantic, preppy, and sexy.

    1. :) It's just a trend the last few years...traditionally small purses like clutches are very over-sized. Not exactly practical.
