KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to KCL Friday Finds! Today's shopping guide is full of affordable beauty-themed stocking stuffers. Don't get me wrong, I love to get candy and chocolates in my stocking, but I also love other gifts, like a cute new pair of socks and especially little beauty products.

A beauty stocking stuffer doesn't have to cost a lot. Between individual sheets masks and bath bombs  to lip balm and nail polish, you can find so many great options under $10. Several options below are even under $5.

The most universal of stocking stuffers, aside from candy, is lip balm. When given as a gift, go with something more luxurious than a Cherry Chapstick from the grocery store. My favorite lip balms at Bua Organics are all-natural and organic and come in options like Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil. For a moisturizing lip balm with the addition of a fun scent, try Einstein Bath Co., for flavors like Sangria, Marshmallow, and Pink Frosting.

A wonderful way to give a luxury beauty…

Pic of the Week: Patiently Awaiting Fall

There has been an unmistakable chill in the air in Maryland this week, and I couldn't be happier. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. I love snow and the holidays, but more so I love the arrival of fall. Nothing makes me happier than mums, pumpkins, and falling leaves in bright shades of red, orange, and yellow.

  2. It's that time of year when you have no idea how to dress for the weather. I left this morning in a pullover sweater over my shirt, and a leather jacket. I could have left the jacket at home.

    1. Oh I know. I keep having to grab jackets for the girls at the last minute, but if they don't wear t-shirts they end up being too hot by lunch. Time for layers!
