My Favorite Jewelry Trends for Fall

As back-to-school approaches, I can't help but look forward to the Fall season. One of the best things about Fall in my opinion, is the fashion! With tall boots and suede hats to chic satchels and statement jewelry, it's the best time of the year to have fun with accessories. Personally, one of my favorite Autumn accessories, and the easiest way to update an outfit, is jewelry. From a big bold ear cuff to minimal gold necklaces with interesting little pendants, my fashion forecast for Fall this year includes more modern and sleek pieces.

For example, while I tend to love a pair of sparkly statement studs or a larger dangling statement earring, this Fall I see a modern ear cuff being one of the biggest earring trends, and it's definitely one of my favorite jewelry trends! It looks great on its own or paired with some gold hoops, and you can even pair it with a cool ear crawler. These elegant and modern ear cuffs come with sleek built-in tassel earrings. 3-Ingredient Cranberry Cocktail

I love, love, love the taste of vodka with apple juice. I also love the taste of vodka with cranberry juice. It only stood to reason that I needed to get these three ingredients together for a tasty threesome. If you were to see my kitchen, you'd know that I own very few kitchen gadgets. Give me a spoon and bowl, and I'm good to go. Given my aversion to kitchen tools, I own even fewer bar tools...like zero, unless you can count my zester. So when it comes to my holiday cocktails, well, come to think of it I usually stick with wine or beer. This year however, I wanted to come up with a few easy and affordable cocktails for my cook book. For Christmas I came up with this 3-Ingredient Sparkling Cranberry Cocktail. No tools, no measuring, and no Tom Cruise bottle-twirling skills required.

INGREDIENTS
  • vodka
  • sparkling apple cider
  • cranberry juice

It couldn't be easier to make. You don't need any bar tools to make it, just the glasses you plan to serve it in. Start with the sparkling cider, and fill each glass 2/3 full, then fill the rest with cranberry juice, leaving room for a splash of vodka. Of course you can leave out the vodka for a sparkling cranberry cider mocktail. Garnish with fresh cranberries. Cheers!
