3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

Holiday Style: 3 Fool-Proof Ways to Wear Sequins

What to wear to a dressy holiday party - something sparkly of course! There is no better way to add some sparkle to your look than with sequins. Though it can be tricky to pull off. If you'd rather play it safe, pair a little black dress or a skirt and tank with a big statement necklace, a sequin clutch, or glitter pumps. But if you have a major party to go to on New Year's and really want to shine, here are three easy ways and add some major sparkle.

1. A Sequin Top - this is a great way to dress up but keep it casual, and a sequin tee is a versatile staple for the holiday party season. You can dress it up with slacks or dress it down with jeans. For a casual holiday party, pair it with skinny jeans and pointy-toe high heel booties. Accessorize with a sleek clutch and modern drop earrings.

2. Sequin Skirt - For a trendy party look, go with a fit and flare sequin skirt. Pair it with a plain fitted top and classic black pumps. Keep the jewelry minimal with a cuff and some sparkly studs. Finish off this party outfit with a cute metallic clutch.

3. Sequin Leggings - these can be very tricky to wear, but they're super cute and very modern. Keep the rest of the look fairly simple. Pair sequin pants with a plain black top - one that is tunic-length; unless you're a size 0, you probably want some coverage over your sequin-covered bum, not to mention, the only thing worse than a camel toe is a sparkly camel toe. It's nice to tone down the look with flats. You can keep it feminine with pointy-toe flats. Add to the modern look with some dressy spiked earrings and an edgy studded clutch.
