25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. Style Guide: A Vintage-Glam Red Carpet Look

I'm just about to curl up with my girlies on the couch with some popcorn to watch the Golden Globes red carpet arrivals on E! News. It is the best part of the show after all. Before I settle in for the evening, I wanted to share a quick red carpet style guide. This is how I would dress a star this awards season. It has the pleating that was a huge trend on the runways, and it also includes the vintage-inspired look with plenty of added glamour. A beautiful vintage-inspired gown like this is best accessorized with pearl drop earrings and a beaded opera clutch. I've included a few affordable items in this guide. The beaded clutch is MG Collection, currently on sale for just $32.50, and the pearl earrings are available on maxandchloe.com for $70.00. The embellished hair comb also adds a lovely vintage-glamour touch to the look. That is currently available for $20.00. You can shop any of the featured items below.

Stop back by the blog tomorrow for my red carpet picks from the 2014 Golden Globes. Enjoy the show!
