3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

Pic of the Week: Call It A Weed, I Call It A Flower


Spring seems so far off. While I do love snow so very much, about this time every year, I start to crave warmer weather. I'm ready to enjoy the outdoors again, especially beautiful flowers. Most people don't think of dandelions when they think of their favorite blooms, but I adore this little weed. Growing up, this flower was known to me as a "wishing flower". Our lawn was covered in them, and my mother always told me that if I made a wish and could blow all the little seeds off in one breath, my wish would come true. I think that is how she got some quiet mommy time, because I could spend the whole afternoon running around the yard, trying to make my wishes come true.
