KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! I've got one beautiful small biz to share with you today, and then I'm doing things a bit differently for today's Friday Finds. I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with complimentary goodies this week, and I wanted to take this time to share my favorites with you. I'll be doing an unboxing video featuring the sample items, to post next week! But first, I did want to share one gorgeous shop with you guys. Check it all out below! Pictured above are some handwoven home goods by Melody Fulone. Her shop is full of unique and beautifully woven wall hangings, pillows, many other home accessories; and even a bit of fiber art jewelry. I really love the neutral colors and the modern designs.

Shop the 2018 Winter Collection. And keep an eye out for a DIY kit for a crochet wall hanging in a few weeks. Melody will also be releasing her spring collection in late March!

This next brand will go into both an unboxing as well as a B…

The Weekend IT List

The Weekend IT List

So many exciting things happening this weekend! Most of all, the return of The Waking Dead. If you have some serious catching up to do on previous seasons of the show, you can watch Season 4 episodes for free here in the next two days. Warning - it is one of those shows that if you start watching, you will get sucked in and neglect your personal hygiene, your growling stomach, and even your children. You can download by episode and season here. If you have Amazon Prime (free 2-day shipping for $79/year), you immediately get access to free movies and shows, including The Walking Dead, which you can watch on all of your devices.

Another thing I'm very excited about for this weekend is the Peter Pilotto for Target Collection,  available in stores Sunday, Feb. 9th. Get there early if you want to get anything specific. These designer collaborations sell out fast. The collection will also be available globally online at Net-A-Porter. Though it's the first time a Target designer collaboration has been available in this manner, so there is no telling how soon items will sell out online. I've got my eye on the beach totes, dresses, and that bustier bikini pictured above! Click here to see the Peter Pilotto for Target Look Book.

It's also time to get your Valentine's Day plans in order as it's next weekend. Get inspired with these 25 Valentine Handmade Gifts and Showstopping Chocolate Desserts. If you need to settle on a decadent dessert for a romantic dinner, check out my chocolate dessert recipes. For everyone on your list, check out my Valentine's Day Gift Guides (links are on the right sidebar).

Whether you have a Valentine or not, I encourage you to treat yourself. I do it every year. I love myself, after all. Why shouldn't I treat myself? If you're single, it can be depressing, but it can also be empowering. It largely depends on your perspective and attitude. Pictured above: Prada Candy Perfume  //  Godiva Boxed Dessert Truffles  //  Victoria's Secret Valentine's Day Makeup Bag Trio

  1. Chocolate every now and then is a good thing!

I know the Walking Dead has a huge following... I've just not watched it myself. Not really one for the zombie genre.
