Pic of the Week: Bronze Wreaths at the WWII Memorial in DC

The WWII Memorial in Washington D.C. is one of my favorite memorials to visit whenever I'm in the city. It has so many features like the Freedom Wall, the fountains in the plaza, the state pillars, and the two large pavilions, each featuring a beautiful bronze wreath held by bronze eagles, otherwise known as the Baldacchino sculptures, referring to the canopy-like structure of the Atlantic and Pacific pavilions.
