Welcome to another Friday Finds! Can you guys believe it's the weekend before Thanksgiving?! Time has been flying by since we moved into our new home, and I'm miraculously keeping up with all of the PR samples and promos and photography. At KCL we've also passed 5K followers on Insta and have a huge giveaway featuring some of my favorite things...over $500 worth of faves (including this gorgeous red nail polish)! You can enter to win here >.

Next week's finds will be Black Friday deals, so there won't be the usual small shops featured, but that is to make way for my big Holiday Gift Guide that will be posted on Small Business Saturday! On today's finds, you get a sneak peek at one of the gift guide picks as well as some self-care bath and body goodies and some adorable ornaments to help you kick off your holiday decor. Enjoy!

The Trendiest Dresses to Wear to a Spring/ Summer Wedding

1. Something Flouncy - The fit and flare dress trend is still going strong for 2014. A fit and flair dress with ruffles or flouncing in the skirt adds such a feminine touch to any cocktail dress. It's also a great style for a daytime outdoor wedding; it looks dressy but has that easy breezy look about it. I love the knee-length cocktail dresses above, because they can be cocktail dressy with the right accessories, yet I could also see myself wearing one with flats on a Saturday of shopping or brunch. It's important to get a lot of use out of a pricey cocktail dress.

The draped maxi dress is perfect for attending a formal summer wedding. In fact, it would be a beautiful spring or summer bridesmaid dress if all the bridesmaids are wearing matching dresses. Printed bridesmaid dresses are a new wedding style trend that I think will grow in the next few years.

2. Something Striped - Stripes are always a big pattern trend for spring, mostly due to the nod to nautical. For 2014 a top dress trend is bold stripes and yet again color blocking. To get a bold striped dress for a more dressy occasion like a wedding, go for something in either softer colors, or pair the traditional nautical stripes with a punch of color. The fabric makes a big difference as well. Something in a shiny taffeta or a chiffon lends itself to a more dressy occasion. For a nautical outdoor wedding in which the bridesmaids are completely matching, one of the taffeta striped dresses pictured above would actually make great bridesmaid dresses. Here is a gorgeous example of some matching striped bridesmaid dresses.

3. Something Floral - Spring is of course always a time for floral prints, so a feminine flowy dress in a floral print is perfect to wear to a spring wedding. I mentioned the option of using the striped dresses above as matching bridesmaid dresses, and it's the same way with the florals. Matching printed bridesmaid dresses is a quickly emerging wedding trend for 2014, and really what could be better for a Spring wedding than florals? I'm even seeing a lot of vintage-inspired weddings feature bridesmaids in a matching floral print in several different colors. Here are some beautiful examples of floral print bridesmaid dresses. If you're simply attending a spring wedding, a floral print summer dress is a great buy, as you can wear it over and over for any number of events, and you can easily dress it up or down. It's also a great investment piece since florals are always in.
