KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! I am super excited to share some new Friday Finds with you! It's a bit of a mix, as we all seem to be anticipating Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas all at once now. Though I'm trying my hardest to live in the moment with pumpkins and autumn decor. I know after Halloween, everyone will be all about Christmas, but we should slow down and enjoy the harvest decor up to Thanksgiving, don't you think? As always, there are a few printables in the mix for last-minute decor, as well as some products for my fellow wine lovers, and some more awesome discounts that were created just for you Friday Finds readers!! 🙂🍂 So you know the drill, grab a cup of coffee and sit down for a break, so you can relax and browse these amazing shops.

Washington, D.C. Engagement I Krisztina Williams Photography

I had the pleasure of shooting my best friend Jessica's engagement session in the fall or 2013, and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. They needed practically zero direction, and we wound up with so many great shots. We started in Georgetown for some beautiful fall foliage and shots by the canal, then ended up on the National Mall so they could pose by some monuments. Her poor fiance Jay had hoped for clear blue skies, but in true Washington D.C. fashion, the city was overcast and threatening rain. It was a typical D.C. day for the quintessential D.C. couple.

From the bride: Jason and I were honored to have the opportunity to take our engagement photos in Washington, DC. We have called DC our home for the past 8 years and wanted to celebrate the culmination of those years in a special way. It was hard to choose which locations with so many perfect options, but we finally decided on three places that are symbolic of our nation's capitol. We chose Georgetown for its quaint charm, the Lincoln Memorial and the US Capitol Building for their historical significance. It was exciting to have my best friend and Matron of Honor take our photographs on such a beautiful fall day. We are looking forward to celebrating our marriage with her and others in July!
