25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. A little black dress is the easiest way to use what you have to create a Halloween costume with a few inexpensive accessories and other accessories you probably already have in your closet.Pictured Above: Halloween Black Mesh Dress

1. Black Cat - This is the easiest way to use your little black dress on Halloween. I know it's pretty much the most generic costume in history, but for good reason - it's just so easy and affordable. It's the perfect last-minute costume for women, because you could really use any black outfit even if you don't have a little black dress. Pair it with your black flats or heels and a…

5 Essentials for Chic Outdoor Entertaining

Whether you enjoy grilling by the pool or a casual evening roasting marshmallows around a fire pit, it's the perfect time to take your entertaining outdoors. Here are some great patio finds to get you inspired for your outdoor parties this season. Pictured Above >

1. Outdoor Seating - I'd love a beautiful outdoor dining set for summer dinner parties, (pictured below) but for lounging, I also love the idea of an outdoor loveseat with a coffee table and side chairs, if you have a large patio space of course. For poolside seating, try some wicker chaise lounge chairs.

2. Hanging Lights - For outdoor entertaining at night, string lights make everything so much more beautiful. I love how so many of the local restaurant patios in Tulsa decorate with cafe lights. You can string them up between tree or under a patio cover. If you have a yard but not a clearly defined entertaining area, you can use these lights to define a space where you want to entertain. Pictured: weatherproof globe string lights. Candle light is so pretty for outdoor entertaining as well. Try some big lantern candle holders to add to the decor of your patio.

3. Cold Drinks - You have to keep the cold drinks coming when you're entertaining outdoors. And while yes, a cooler full of beers would suffice, you can take it up a notch with a pretty pitcher full of sangria or something like a fruit-infused tea or lemonade.

4. A Place in the Shade - I don't know how it is where you live, but I live in Oklahoma, and when it's hot, it's hot! And when the skies are clear, there isn't a cloud in sight and the sun beats down hard. Shade is a must for keeping cool. If you don't have a covered patio, try a large umbrella.
