Summer Jewelry Trend: Modern Metallics

I love to wear statement jewelry in the summer. It's a great way to accessorize a simple sundress or tank. Modern metallic jewelry is always on trend for summer, and for 2014, punk-inspired details like spikes and studs are still in. Bold cut-out cuffs and hammered metal are a few of my favorite pieces this year.

Styling Tip: Pair gold with a black or rich jewel tones, and pair silver with summer whites or lighter colors like a pastel yellow or sky blue.

  1. I love most of these pieces! I tend to wear very simple clothes in bold jewel tones and these work perfectly with that wardrobe.

I don't care much for gold, though, except for rose gold. I prefer silver and copper.
