Sorry all of you adorable little owls out there, but your time at the top is coming to an end. For fall 2014, it's all about the hedgehog! Other forest critters like squirrels and foxes and of course owls are still on trend for fall, especially when it comes to home decor. But if you go to stores like Pier 1, you'll find an abundance of adorable little hedgehog figurines and other hedgehog home accessories this season. While the trend goes hand in hand with shades of brown and natural materials, you'll also find modern hedgehog accessories in bright colors, white, and modern designs; like this white Jonathan Adler 'Hedgehog' Porcelain Sculpture and the colorful "Sadie" hedgehog kitchen accessories pictured above. The hedgehog decor trend is prevalent in both adult and children's home decor. This colorful, modern hedgehog pillow would be perfect in a little boy's room. What do you think of the hedgehog trend? Leave me a comment below. Personally I love it! I really want those adorable Sadie bowls and measuring spoons from Pier 1. Here are some more of my top picks, and a real-life hedgehog just for kicks. Isn't it adorable??
