KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! I've got one beautiful small biz to share with you today, and then I'm doing things a bit differently for today's Friday Finds. I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with complimentary goodies this week, and I wanted to take this time to share my favorites with you. I'll be doing an unboxing video featuring the sample items, to post next week! But first, I did want to share one gorgeous shop with you guys. Check it all out below! Pictured: Minimalist Woven Pillow

Pictured above are some handwoven home goods by Melody Fulone. Her shop is full of unique and beautifully woven wall hangings, pillows, many other home accessories; and even a bit of fiber art jewelry. I really love the neutral colors and the modern designs.

Shop the 2018 Winter Collection. And keep an eye out for a DIY kit for a crochet wall hanging in a few weeks. Melody will also be releasing her spring collection in late March!

This next brand will go into both an unboxing as well as a B…

The Disney Cinderella Collection by Lauren Conrad

I'm always a big fan of the LC Lauren Conrad collections for Kohl's, but I'm especially excited for the March collection. With the release of Disney's Cinderella in theaters this March, what a perfect time to introduce the Disney Cinderella Collection by Lauren Conrad, full of romantic florals and a tulle midi skirt that is fit for a princess. I think I may finally give in to the tulle skirt trend. See the full collection here.

  1. Lauren Conrad...does she have her hand in everything? I heard she was also writing novels. Wouldn't it be nice of her to not try to do it all and leave some room for others to find success? There are a lot of talented young writers out there who can't get a contract, but those idiots in New York will pay a bundle to slap her name on books most likely written by someone else.

Sorry...I'll get off my soap box now.

    1. She has a few books out now, most of which are on style and beauty. It is frustrating that celebrities can get their hands on a book contract so easily, but she has worked hard to make herself an expert in the field. A lot of people in the fashion industry have their own books out, but they still have to work hard and create a good product in the end if they want sales, so I don't really see it as being unfair.

  2. She does seem to have her fingers in a lot of pies, come to think of it.
