3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

For an indoor wedding, no matter what time of year, you can never go wrong with a Black Formal Dresses. An elegant knee-length cocktail dress, like this FAIRY COUPLE Women's Off the Shoulder Lace Vintage Wedding Party Cocktail Dress is perfect for a black-tie optional indoor wedding, while a sleeveless o…

My Secrets for Clear and Beautiful Glowing Skin

I get a lot of compliments on my skin whenever I'm in public. Strangers, store clerks, and other ladies shopping in the beauty aisles tend to ask me what I use on my face. Like most things, maintaining beautiful skin takes work. I've tried a lot of products over the years, especially in an effort to incorporate more natural products into my skincare routine. There are a few things I've been using for a long time, and a few recent products that I absolutely love.

I have fresh fruit featured above as one the products for great skin, because a clear complexion starts with what you eat. Especially as you age, no amount of product can cover up the effects of an unhealthy diet. I drink a ton of water and make sure I get a wide variety of fruits and vegetables into my diet. I used fruit in particular for the layout above, because on top of using Stevia, I eat a lot of fruit whenever my sweet tooth kicks in. You could do all the right things when it comes to skin care, but if you have a diet high in sugar, it's going to show on your face.

In addition to a healthy diet, clear skin of course requires cleansing. I've used baking soda in the past for exfoliating and deep cleaning, but I've replaced that with a cleansing facial brush, and I really love the results. I don't use it everyday, just whenever I have full makeup on, and I just use it at night. For mornings, or evenings in which I don't have makeup on, I use a Dove beauty bar. Whatever you use, the key is to find a mild cleanser that won't dry out your face. I try to avoid fragrance and chemicals like sodium lauryl sulfate. Unfortunately most of the affordable cleansing products contain this ingredient. Though the Dove bar has worked just fine for me so far. If you have a little more money to splurge with, this Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Hydrating Cleanser is a nice option with fewer harsh ingredients.

Once a week and up to two times, I love to use a deep cleansing mask to really clean out pores and help fight blackheads. My absolute most favorite mask lately is the Freeman Facial Charcoal & Black Sugar Polish Mask. You should be able to find it at your local Wal-Mart or Target. It comes in both a large tube and a single packet. I always take a few of the single packets with me if I'm traveling.

After cleansing, a toner can really help tighten everything up and further treat any blemishes. I love to use apple cider vinegar. Its high acidity acts as a gentle peel and helps fight bacteria. Water the vinegar down half water to half vinegar and apply with a cotton ball prior to moisturizing skin. Although I still battle with acne between heavy makeup for photo shoots and sweat from my workouts. I recently incorporated a few drops of tea tree oil into my apple cider vinegar toner and noticed a big difference in the clarity of my skin. Just keep in mind some of these products can cause drying if you have very sensitive or dry skin, so it might not be best for you depending on your skin type.

I use several different serums and moisturizers, but when it comes to keeping my skin clear, I love coconut oil. It penetrates deeply for the best moisturizing when it comes to oils, yet it's nice and light. It's the one oil I've used on my face that hasn't caused clogged pores and caused extra blemishes. I love to use vitamin E oil under my eyes and on my neck and chest, but whenever I want oil all over my face, coconut oil wins out every time.
