The KCL Beauty Edit

Welcome to another KCL Beauty Edit! I've really loved so many of the beauty and makeup products I tried last month. There is usually at least one dud in the bunch that I reluctantly have to give a bad review, but I have something good to say about each one of these products. A few of them I very highly recommend, so grab a cup of coffee and check it all out. If you have a question about any of the products mentioned, please leave it below in the comments section. And if you don't have time to read this, you can skip ahead and listen to my video review here while you work or whatever. Enjoy!

The new skincare line I tried last month was from LHB Natural Skincare, which included a facial wash and two different facial serums. I recently posted about LHB in an anti-aging skincare routine blog and video to show how I use each of these products. Of course I started with the facial wash, which I really loved. The LHB Coconut & Sea Clay Mineral Face Wash is great for any skin type…

Trending: Mule Pumps for Spring / Summer 2015

There are quite a few different women's shoe trends for Spring 2015, one of my favorites being the slide or mule pump. Traditional mule pumps were popular in 2014, and this year, the trend is hot in both closed-toe pumps and open-toe high heel sandals. And while last year, the mule pumps were mostly seen with either chunky high heels or slim kitten heels, this season it's seen with both chunky and high stiletto heels. Many high-end brands like Stuart Weitzman, Kate Spade, and Giuseppe Zanotti are in on the trend for 2015, as well as more affordable shoe brands like Nine West for under $100. While the chunky sandals are growing on me, these more classic pointed-toe mule pumps are my favorite. Pictured above: Kookie Buhain of Death by Platforms

Trending: Mule Pumps

My top pick in mule pumps is the Sam Edelman Women's Monroe Slide Pump, available in black and white, camel and black, pewter and black (pictured above), and even a few prints. Pair it with a daytime work dress, a sexy evening dress, or even a casual pair of boyfriend jeans. It's the perfect transitional heel for Spring.
