25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. A little black dress is the easiest way to use what you have to create a Halloween costume with a few inexpensive accessories and other accessories you probably already have in your closet.Pictured Above: Halloween Black Mesh Dress

1. Black Cat - This is the easiest way to use your little black dress on Halloween. I know it's pretty much the most generic costume in history, but for good reason - it's just so easy and affordable. It's the perfect last-minute costume for women, because you could really use any black outfit even if you don't have a little black dress. Pair it with your black flats or heels and a…

The Spring 2015 Style Edit

Spring fashion seems to have a brief moment in the spotlight before summer arrives, but let's stop and smell the florals while we can. There are so many pretty and feminine trends for Spring 2015, like the midi skirt and off-the-shoulder ruffle tops. Returning trends like the romper and crop top are quickly becoming classics, so go ahead and invest in those pieces. If you're on a budget, pick neutral blazers and handbags in classic designs that you can wear again this fall. Shop the looks below or click here to shop spring trends >>

Look #1 - Weekend Getaway - Hopefully you've squeezed in some vacation time this spring. I love to getaway for the weekend, though I don't have any fun plans until this summer. Whenever I travel in the spring or summer, I pack metallic accessories that go with everything - no need to pick between black or brown. I also tend to go for a jersey maxi dress. It can be dressed up for dinner with jewelry or worn as a swimsuit coverup during the day, and it's easy to roll up into my travel bag. Click here to shop Beach-Ready Swimwear >>

Business Chic

Look # 2 - Business Casual Chic - Skinny jeans may be somewhat on the way out while flare-legs jeans are making a comeback, but boyfriend jeans are very much still in style this spring. For a chic casual spring look, I love a pair of slim distressed boyfriend jeans with a blazer and pointed-toe pumps or ballet flats. You can update the look this season with mule pumps and the modern pearl trend. Take the look from day to evening with a strappy tank, and swap out your satchel for a little clutch.

Look #3 - Ladies Who Brunch - With summer being the busiest time for weddings, spring is always packed with spring showers and brunches. It's the perfect time to put on something sweet and feminine, like a pleated midi skirt. A flared midi skirt looks great with flats, so if you really don't want to wear heels, go with an A-line midi skirt and pointed or peep-toe flats! Pair it with a bustier top or a spring crop top.

Look #4 - Saturday Romp -
Rompers are still very much in for spring and summer this year. It's clear to see this trend isn't going anywhere. It's become just as much a staple as the sundress, so go ahead and buy a few! I love a short strapless romper as a swimsuit coverup and a more dressy one, like the romper pictured above, as an alternative to a weekend dress. A dressy-casual romper looks perfect with two of the top accessory trends for 2015 - the bucket bag and mules.
