Easy DIY Halloween Party Favors

There are so many cute Halloween party favor ideas floating about the web, like the witch's broom goodie bags for example, though they do require some DIY experience. These tin-tie bakery bags are the perfect size for a Halloween goodie bag, and they require no crafting skills. I love howthe favor bags I made them with are cute enough for kids but still nice enough for the grown-ups as well. All you need are the bakery bags, ribbon, and 3D Halloween stickers from the craft store. You can use the smaller bag pictured above or a larger bakery bag with a window display. I like to fill the larger ones with treats to give out as holiday presents to neighbors and teachers.

Simply fill the bags with a Halloween treat (homemade or store-bought), close them up and tie them off with ribbon, then affix a sticker to each bag. These are food-grade bags, so they're perfect to fill with homemade fall treats like popcorn, kettle corn, or Halloween chocolates. Try my DIY gourmet popcorn

There are several bikini trends that are returning from last summer; like the bustier bikini, flounce-top bikini, and the strapless bandeau. Though there are a few new trends this season when it comes to swimwear. The high-neck cropped bikini top also remains to be one of the top swimsuit trends for summer 2016.

The high-neck bikini trend comes in many different styles, from sporty to sexy, and from boho-chic to modern and glamorous. I love them all, but I think my favorite is a tie between the sheer mesh and the crochet top. Which one is your favorite? Shop all of the looks below or click here to shop high-neck bikini tops >>

Which Body Type Looks Best in a High-Neck Bikini

You guys know I try to avoid talking about body types and what someone should or shouldn't wear. But let's face it, some swimsuits look better on different bodies, and we all want to feel our best, especially in a swimsuit. The high-neck halter is great for both small and large-chested frames, depending on which style you go with. A simple sporty high-neck bikini like this Aeropostale Women's Lld Palm Tree Stripe High-Neck Top or the Aeropostale Women's Blue Kaleidoscope Hi-Neck pictured above can be great if you're large-chested and want to keep those babies under control. If you have just the opposite issue, go with one of the illusion neckline bikinis. The crochet and sheer mesh halter tops for example tend to have under-wires with sweetheart neckline, and a sweetheart neckline is a girl's best friend!

The high neck swimsuits rarely come with high-waist bikini bottoms, so if you're hoping to cover up your tummy, you'll want to go with a different kind of bikini, like a bustier or bandeau bikini top with a high-waist bottom. Though you can still get the high-neck halter trend in a tankini or one-piece.  If you're a little shortie like me and have a small torso, the high neck is still a good choice. Find one that is cropped just below the bust, and the high neck paired with a small bikini bottom can actually make you look taller.

    1. True! Lol. Also why I tend to go with a strapless bandeau! These are so cute though. I'd wear one occasionally.
