The Prettiest Bridesmaid Trends for 2015
The hottest trends in bridesmaid dresses for 2015 are for the most part inspired by the rise in traditional black-tie weddings, as most of the top wedding-reception trends for 2015 are all about glamour and opulence. Brides are finding inspiration from the beautiful lives led by the royal couple as well as the fictional characters of Downton Abbey and the recent live-action remake of Cinderella. While tea-length and knee-length bridesmaid dresses are still in, the prettiest and most glamorous looks call for formal evening dresses.

Even the more laid back wedding trends like beach weddings, rustic fall weddings, and rustic chic are each taking on a more elegant feel. The newest trend for casual outdoor weddings is a departure from the rustic-chic look to something more bohemian; incorporating beautiful florals, lace, and shimmering fabrics as opposed to all of the burlap we've seen in recent years.

The top bridesmaid dresses also largely center around the top trends in wedding color palettes for the year. For 2015 those colors include blush pink, champagne, royal blue, grey, burgundy, and green, among others; with blush pink being the most popular of all, closely followed by the white bridesmaid dress trend. Two new big trends in bridesmaid dresses this year are the floral prints and white dresses. In the case of white bridesmaid dresses, the bride will typically mix up her look with a champagne or blush pink wedding gown.Pictured: A-line Chiffon Natural Zipper Floor-length Bridesmaid Dress / One Shoulder Chiffon Sheath Sleeveless Floor-length Bridesmaid Dress / Natural Chiffon Sheath Sleeveless Sweetheart Bridesmaid Dress

When it comes to fabrics, flowing chiffon is still a huge trend this year, though modern dresses in taffeta and silk are also popular for black tie weddings. Necklines have shifted from the sweetheart strapless with the top-trending dresses having a halter, off-the-shoulder, or plunging neckline. With the high-neck dress, we're also seeing a lot of keyhole backs.
