Color Crush: Yellow

Colors that reflect the season are always on trend. For summer that means ocean blues, sandy neutrals, and sunset hues in orange and yellow. One of my favorites is a bright, cheery yellow. Whether it's a print with pops of yellow mixed in, a bright yellow accessory, or an all-over yellow dress; it's the perfect color to add to your summer wardrobe. A yellow top or dress can go with so many different accessories from neutrals to metallics and even bright contrasting color like a cobalt blue pumps. A neon yellow is great with edgy black accessories, while the pastel yellow or warm butter yellow can both go with tan or white. I love the boho-chic dress paired with tan lace-up heels. Pair a classic yellow, like the strapless one pictured above, with sleek silver heels.

  1. It's a colour that actually seems to only work, as far as I'm concerned, on flowers.
