How to Wear the Hot Pink Lipstick Trend
One of my absolute favorite makeup trends is hot pink lipstick. I do like reds and wine shades, especially during fall and winter, but for a bold lip during Spring and Summer, hot pink is perfect. It's such a fun, flirty look that is sexy without being too overdone. I still love a red lip, but hot pink is something you could wear anytime for just about any occasion. The new Revlon lip collections offer so many options in lip gloss, lacquers, and cream lipsticks. Their new ColorStay and HD lips products come in so many bold and beautiful shades of pink. Pictured: Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer
Which Hot Pink Lipstick Goes with Which Skin Tone
The hot pink lipstick trend looks great with all types of skin tones and hair colors. The lighter hot pinks with a purple/blue undertone like the one on Emma Stone just above is great for fair skin, though if you have light hair and skin, you could also pull off the bolder hot pink seen on Olivia Wilde.
For tan skin like myself, the Moisture Stain in Barcelona Nights or a similar bold fuchsia pink is perfect. I absolutely love the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Fushsia Fusion.
One of the top-rated hot pinks for medium tan to dark skin is the REVLON Colorburst Lip Butter in Lollipop.

How to Match Hot Pink Lipstick with the Rest of Your Makeup
- Go Monochrome - Pair hot pink lips with soft pink blush and a brownish-pink eye shadow.
- Keep Everything Else Subtle and Neutral - Go with a natural bronzer blush and use a nudes palette for the eyes.
- Add a Contrasting Pop of Color on the Eyes - For a fun night-out look, pair the hot pink lipstick with a trendy blue eye shadow or liner. Pictured Above: Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lip Color in All Night Fucshia
