The Top Fall Denim Trends for Women
Fall fashion is one of my favorite things this time of year. I love the leaves turning, the holidays approaching, pumpkin-scented anything; but most of all, I love the fashion. It's the time for riding boots, leather satchels that are so pretty I could hug them (don't judge me), and of course the denim. I am a girly girl when the weather is warmer, with more sundresses than I can count; but in the fall, I'm all about the denim.
Yes, skinny jeans are still in! Quite a few of the denim trends for fall 2015 are different from last year, the biggest change being that the boot cut and flare leg jeans are back in. But make no mistake, this does not mean skinny jeans are on the way out. Far from it actually, there are many new variations on the skinnies. The biggest change in skinny jeans this fall is that they are more like...well, jeans. In other words, you won't see a lot of jeggings. Yes, ladies, sadly we will have to button our pants again this fall. Let's take a moment of silence to mourn the loss of all the elastic waistband jeggings of years past which made us look five pounds thinner. From single knee slits to massive holes, the distressed look is still very much in for fall. Though distressed or not, the biggest trend I'm seeing for fall denim is the ankle jean. It's a slim-fitting jean that hits just above the ankle. You can see this trend on anything from a pair of skinnies to a distressed pair of boyfriend jeans. I love the trend on skinny jeans that have a cuff or raw edge at the bottom, because then I can just take any pair of skinnies (which are always too long on me to begin with) and give them a snip at the bottom hems. The 70s mod style is one of the top style trends for fall 2015, and with it, the flare-leg jeans. From extreme bell bottoms to more subtle "kick flare" jeans, and even wide-leg cropped jeans, if you haven't been a fan of the skinny jean, you'll have no trouble finding something more relaxed this fall.

When it comes to denim skirts this fall, it's all about the button-up A-line jean skirt. You can find the trend in mini, midi, and knee-length. It's a great transitional skirt for fall that will look great with a long-sleeve top and riding boots. If you're not a fan, try a denim pencil skirt.
