KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to KCL Friday Finds! Today's shopping guide is full of affordable beauty-themed stocking stuffers. Don't get me wrong, I love to get candy and chocolates in my stocking, but I also love other gifts, like a cute new pair of socks and especially little beauty products.

A beauty stocking stuffer doesn't have to cost a lot. Between individual sheets masks and bath bombs  to lip balm and nail polish, you can find so many great options under $10. Several options below are even under $5.

The most universal of stocking stuffers, aside from candy, is lip balm. When given as a gift, go with something more luxurious than a Cherry Chapstick from the grocery store. My favorite lip balms at Bua Organics are all-natural and organic and come in options like Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil. For a moisturizing lip balm with the addition of a fun scent, try Einstein Bath Co., for flavors like Sangria, Marshmallow, and Pink Frosting.

A wonderful way to give a luxury beauty…

Snapshots from the Week

The week of Christmas is finally here!:) And while it's filled with parties, family visits, last-minute shopping, and a whole lot of baking (with regular work squeezed in); I find myself quite relaxed this week...perhaps because I'm going on vacation right after Christmas. Or perhaps it's because I've learned that I simply can't fit in everything I want to do, and I'm not going to ruin the things I do do have time for by stressing over the thing I don't. Pictured: Rhema Lights in Tulsa

Our date night during the week was extra special as there are several places downtown Tulsa to see Christmas lights. We started at Spaghetti Warehouse, walked through Guthrie Green, and took some pics at Winterfest where there is a big tree and more lights.

And because we can't seem to have a date without Starbucks or Barnes and Noble (which is totally okay with me), we went for coffee on Brookside, where I saw this super cool window display at a home store called SR Hughes.

My regular bouquet from that handsome man pictured above.:) I'll never tire of red roses, but this holiday-themed version was a very beautiful surprise.

As I often do this time of year, I made lots of yummy presents for friends and family. You can get the recipe for my chocolate peanut butter bark and the chocolate peanut butter popcorn.

I'm excited to spend extra time with loved ones this week, though I will still be posting up to Christmas day, so stop back by for last-minute gift ideas and some more yummy holiday recipes. What do you have planned for the busy holiday week? Whether you'll be with friends and family or on vacation, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!:)
