My Favorite Jewelry Trends for Fall

As back-to-school approaches, I can't help but look forward to the Fall season. One of the best things about Fall in my opinion, is the fashion! With tall boots and suede hats to chic satchels and statement jewelry, it's the best time of the year to have fun with accessories. Personally, one of my favorite Autumn accessories, and the easiest way to update an outfit, is jewelry. From a big bold ear cuff to minimal gold necklaces with interesting little pendants, my fashion forecast for Fall this year includes more modern and sleek pieces.

For example, while I tend to love a pair of sparkly statement studs or a larger dangling statement earring, this Fall I see a modern ear cuff being one of the biggest earring trends, and it's definitely one of my favorite jewelry trends! It looks great on its own or paired with some gold hoops, and you can even pair it with a cool ear crawler. These elegant and modern ear cuffs come with sleek built-in tassel earrings. Snapshots from the Week

The week of Christmas is finally here!:) And while it's filled with parties, family visits, last-minute shopping, and a whole lot of baking (with regular work squeezed in); I find myself quite relaxed this week...perhaps because I'm going on vacation right after Christmas. Or perhaps it's because I've learned that I simply can't fit in everything I want to do, and I'm not going to ruin the things I do do have time for by stressing over the thing I don't. Our date night during the week was extra special as there are several places downtown Tulsa to see Christmas lights. We started at Spaghetti Warehouse, walked through Guthrie Green, and took some pics at Winterfest where there is a big tree and more lights.

And because we can't seem to have a date without Starbucks or Barnes and Noble (which is totally okay with me), we went for coffee on Brookside, where I saw this super cool window display at a home store called SR Hughes.

My regular bouquet from that handsome man pictured above.:) I'll never tire of red roses, but this holiday-themed version was a very beautiful surprise.

As I often do this time of year, I made lots of yummy presents for friends and family. You can get the recipe for my chocolate peanut butter bark and the chocolate peanut butter popcorn.

I'm excited to spend extra time with loved ones this week, though I will still be posting up to Christmas day, so stop back by for last-minute gift ideas and some more yummy holiday recipes. What do you have planned for the busy holiday week? Whether you'll be with friends and family or on vacation, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!:)
