KCL 2018 Beauty Awards

Welcome to the latest beauty edit and the very first beauty awards here on the blog! I’ve tried so many wonderful beauty products this year and wanted to let you guys know which were my top must-have products of the year. I’ve picked from new and small businesses only, as I love to work with indie brands. And like most of the beauty brands I review; most of these are organic, natural, and cruelty-free.

These are the items that long after the required testing and promotion period, I find myself still using and preferring above any others. The're the products which despite a never ending stream of free PR samples, I would still spend my own money (and in some cases have) in order to get more of. And whether affordable or more costly, these are the beauty products that I truly think are worth the price. So if you’re thinking about adding more beauty or selfcare products into your 2019 routine, I highly recommend each of these brands.

Window Shopping

It's here - the last shopping weekend before Christmas. I still have a few things to buy. How about you? Last weekend was unproductive in the way of gift shopping, though it was very relaxing, spent window shopping around Utica Sqaure in Tulsa. My boyfriend and I went to look at the Christmas lights and fill up on Starbucks, as usual. It's a much more pleasant place to be this time of year, rather than the busy malls.

Utica Square has a lot of the stores I feature on this site; like Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Anthropologie. It's always nice to see those products in person. There was no shortage of adorable holiday decor and gifts.

Pottery Barn was a festive feast for the eyes, with several beautifully decorated trees and so many lovely Christmas ornaments. I love to give ornaments as a gift. How adorable is this ugly Christmas sweater ornament?? I definitely need one of these.

Beautiful Coach purses...yes, I'll take both of those, thank you. I just had to snap a pic of this festive window display. I'll take those decorative snowflakes too!

I'm a sucker for beautiful measuring cups. I know, strange thing to covet, but aren't they beautiful? I've seen a lot of gorgeous ones on the Anthropologie website, but I'd yet to see these beautiful gold-rimmed ones. So pretty.

I just had to snap a shot of this pineapple candle. My daughter is currently obsessed, as are many fellow fashion bloggers, with anything pineapple.

Whether you plan to do some window shopping this weekend, or some last-minute Christmas shopping, I hope you have a great weekend.:)
