3 DIY Exfoliating Facial Masks

Exfoliating is one of the most important steps when it comes to skincare. As we age, the skin doesn't naturally exfoliate as often, so it needs a little help. The immediate benefit to exfoliating is that it removes dead skin and encourages skin cell renewal, for younger looking skin. Best of all, with regular at-home exfoliation, you don't need to spend a lot of money on expensive microdermabrasion treatments. With these easy-to-make DIY masks, you'll enjoy glowing, younger-looking skin with the added bonus of a fun and relaxing #selfcaresunday.

If you're a beauty and fashion junkie, like me, you probably own a wide variety of products, both affordable and moderately-priced to a few splurges. I think a beauty product, of all things, should be a splurge every now and then. For the girl who loves to look pretty, what could be better than a beauty product that is itself beautifully packaged. It's a safe gift for someone who likes beauty, because though she may already have ten different lipsticks, or five different perfumes; something pretty like the stila A Whole Lot of Love Makeup Set pictured below is going to be very-well received. It is essentially the gift of beauty and luxury.

    1. Yeah I suppose that's true. Those lipsticks are so adorable though. Sometimes when the packaging on the product itself is great, the box it comes in isn't always necessarily gift-worthy. I'd put those in a cute little gift box or gift bag if they were for someone else.

  2. I want to play with some make up now. The Anthropologie lipsticks are just dreamy looking - it's a shame they aren't good.
