3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

Glamorous Greys

Grey has become a huge home decor trend, and I totally love it. Once thought of as a cold color for design, it's actually very soothing, and as you can see here, can make a room look very glamorous and romantic. I love how well it works with silver and mirrored accent. Just a touch of sparkle and some fresh white flowers would make it perfect for me. Pictured: Williams Sonoma Snakeskin Jacquard Bedding

I love the monochromatic design, but grey goes very well with color too. Add some warmth with shades of purple or coral, or give it a more masculine look with blacks and browns. I'd add some warmth with textures - a nice satin pillow and a furry throw. You can use different textures and patterns to break up the monochromatic look, not to mention the white molding. Is there anything prettier than a light grey wall with white molding? Throw in some mirrored furniture and a tufted headboard, and I'd be set.|grey%2Bbedding|22|best|0|1|24||13&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH|grey%2Bbedding|22|best|0|1|24||13&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH

  1. I agree, Krisztina, grey is the perfect way to add the perfect touch of glamour to a room and when we move, I'm certainly planning on using plenty of grey decor pieces. I'm simply obsessing over that grey snakeskin print pillowcase (I'm a sucker for nearly all animal prints). Thanks so much for the inspiration and I hope you're having a lovely day so far!

  2. I love grey for home decor! We've used a lot of it in our home. It's nice because it still feels light and neutral but doesn't get dirty like white.
