Last-Minute Luxury Gifts for Her

We are getting down to the wire here, with just a little over a week before Christmas. It can be hard to find the perfect gift, but it doesn't have to be. With online shopping, you can find some really great items she'll love, and ones that  don't cost a fortune either.

Etsy can be a great place to find something beautiful and unique. Some items on Etsy have a longer processing time, but some, particularly the jewelry and candle shops, tend to have things ready-made. Thus you're bound to find some very beautiful and unique gifts. You just have to check the deadline for Christmas in each shop's announcements. Some will even work with you on rush orders, so it never hurts to ask! Editor's Picks: Gift-Worthy Fragrances

A fragrance is such a great gift for a special someone. It's substantial but not too expensive, depending on which kind. And the good ones come in such pretty bottles. My personal favorite are the Victoria's Secret perfumes. Scents like   Sexy Little Things Noir by Victoria's Secret come in such beautiful packaging, though I'm partial to the scent of VS Pink and VS Sheer Love. Perfumes can be such a sentimental gift. With scents like In Love and At Last, Lollia makes for a very sweet gift. I love the floral prints and unique packaging for their other items like bath soap and lotion.

Jo Malone Cologne Collection Set of Five Travel Size in Box

Back when I cleaned houses for a living (yes, I was a maid), I had a few wealthy clients, and these luxurious women all had one thing in common when it came to their bathrooms - they each had a gleaming silver vanity tray covered with several expensive bottles of perfume. And the one brand that each of them seemed to always have on hand was Jo Malone. So, while I have no idea what any of the Jo Malone London perfumes smell like, it is something I've wanted, something I associate with luxury.

These rollerball perfumes have been a favorite of mine because they're more affordable, but also because they're perfect for travel. Whether it's for a weekend away, or simply for day to evening, I always keep one of these in my purse. So many perfumes are now available in this functional mini size.

Tocca is another perfume brand I associate with luxury. I see it every time I'm in a girly high-end boutique; it always catches my eye. Like most luxury fragrances, it comes in a variety of scents that combine florals, musk, and fruity elements. What are some of your favorite scents?

  3. My friends and family can never go wrong by giving me perfume! I really enjoyed your post!

  4. I've used the same fragrance since college. I found one I loved so much, that when I heard Estee Lauder was going to discontinue it, I bought every bottle the store had in stock that day. They lasted me a few years.

    Happily, they've brought it back.
