3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

For an indoor wedding, no matter what time of year, you can never go wrong with a Black Formal Dresses. Window Shopping: Decopolis

On the way to dinner at The Vault downtown Tulsa, my fiance and I discovered the coolest little shop - Decopolis. It's like part gift shop, part home goods, and part unique children's toys. We accidentally stumbled into their grand opening at the new location in downtown Tulsa's Deco District.

The first thing I noticed was this super cool typewriter. I think every writer needs a cool vintage typewriter on display, don't you? This section also had a lot of unique stationary and books for sale.

The children's sections were filled with retro family games, a small puppet theater, and those robots! How cool are all of those robots?

For the tea lover, there were gourmet teas and a nice selection of tea pots, surrounded by Alice In Wonderland products.

The part that had me most excited was this Anne Taintor display. I don't believe I've ever seen this much Anne Taintor merchandise on display in a store. I am so going back for that mug.

Being that it's in the Deco District, and aptly named Decopolis, there was a fair amount of art deco home goods in the mix.

It's definitely the place to go for something unique, and it's a fun place to go even if you're just window shopping. Check it out at 502 S Boston Avenue if you live in the Tulsa area.
