The KCL Beauty Edit

Welcome to another KCL Beauty Edit! I've really loved so many of the beauty and makeup products I tried last month. There is usually at least one dud in the bunch that I reluctantly have to give a bad review, but I have something good to say about each one of these products. A few of them I very highly recommend, so grab a cup of coffee and check it all out. If you have a question about any of the products mentioned, please leave it below in the comments section. And if you don't have time to read this, you can skip ahead and listen to my video review here while you work or whatever. Enjoy!

The new skincare line I tried last month was from LHB Natural Skincare, which included a facial wash and two different facial serums. I recently posted about LHB in an anti-aging skincare routine blog and video to show how I use each of these products. Of course I started with the facial wash, which I really loved. The LHB Coconut & Sea Clay Mineral Face Wash is great for any skin type…

Dresser Mansion in Tulsa, OK

Earlier this year, my fiance and I found the perfect space for our wedding that will be in December. We only needed to tour one place to make up our minds, because the Dresser Mansion was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we need for a small but elegant, formal wedding.

The dark woods, rich texture of the walls and drapes, and the warm glow from all of the sconces and candelabra fixtures are exactly what I had in mind when I pictured my wedding. We're going with a rich red and some gold accents for the color palette, so the space is the perfect backdrop. And it's so beautiful all it's own, it really doesn't need a lot of decorating. What's even better is we're getting married in December, so the mansion will have it's annual holiday decor up. My fiance and I both love Christmas...I mean, who doesn't? But we REALLY love the holidays, so it's the perfect time for us to celebrate our marriage.

The Dresser Mansion has several levels. One for the ceremony, reception and buffet area, a lower level containing a really cool library, and an upper level with a bridal suite and groom's quarters.

We are so very excited to celebrate our love and will of course share more pics and details on here throughout the process. This weekend it's dress shopping for me, our Save the Dates should be arriving in the mail shortly, and next after that is, I believe, some yummy cake tasting.:)
