3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

For an indoor wedding, no matter what time of year, you can never go wrong with a Black Formal Dresses. An elegant knee-length cocktail dress, like this FAIRY COUPLE Women's Off the Shoulder Lace Vintage Wedding Party Cocktail Dress is perfect for a black-tie optional indoor wedding, while a sleeveless o…

An Early Bloom

The roses in Tulsa are in full bloom, a little earlier than is typical this time of year, but I'm not complaining one bit. Roses have always been one of my favorite flowers, even more so since I met my fiance, who has brought me more roses than I can count.

After seeing a lot of rose bushes blooming around town, I was hoping the rose garden in the Tulsa Garden Center would be in bloom. My fiance, always wanting to take me to pretty places, made a stop both there and to Riverside Drive for a nice walk. The rain has been very off and on, more on lately, but that just made the roses all the more beautiful with glistening water droplets.

I love red, but I sure was impressed by the beautiful peachy colors at the rose garden. What's blooming in your part of the world?

  4. I LOVE flowers, too, beautiful! My love and appreciation for their beauty only started a few years ago and I think I got it from my mom. She is the flower and plant queen! For as long as I can remember, our house always looked like a jungle, haha, and ironically, I never really stopped to look and appreciate all the beautiful plants and flowers she had. When we purchase our new home someday, I told her that I want her to help me with the gardening because she has such a great hand. Seriously, if a plant is dying, she will save it! Anyway, these photos are breathtaking, I love roses, they are my favorite flower. I just love how they open up as they bloom, becoming more and more beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!
