Q&A: Thanksgiving 911

Every Thanksgiving hostess has his or her moments of anxiety. Hell, I've been making holiday dinners and hosting dinner parties for a decade, and I still get a little nervous when it come to roasting the perfect turkey. That combined with kids, houseguests, and having to make an endless supply of side dishes all timed in perfect harmony...it's a lot for one person. Checking In: Courtyard Marriott

For this romantic evening out, my fiance and I chose a downtown hotel, because we had tickets to see the Romeo and Juliet ballet at the PAC. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Tulsa's Deco District. As you would imagine, the hotel was decorated in the art deco style.

I really loved the location, as we were within walking distance of both the PAC, a few cool shops including Decopolis (highly recommended), and plenty of great places to eat. Though there were a few places to eat on-site as well, including the hotel cafe and bar and the beautiful art deco Atlas Grill on the ground floor.

It was a wonderful stay, and it's safe to say my fiance and I would definitely return to this hotel.
