Easy Everyday Contouring and Highlighting

Contouring and highlighting has been a huge makeup trend in recent years, and with good reason - you can use concealer to achieve more defined cheek bones, to make your lips look bigger, and my personal favorite - to hide a double chin. And despite all of the intricate tutorials out there, I want to show you that it can actually be quick an easy!

The first trick is to start with the right concealer shades. First, let’s get one thing straight: when I say highlighter, I do not mean the super light and shimmery highlighter that should only be reserved for above the cheekbones. I’ve seen all too many makeup vloggers apply that all over, from the forehead to the tip of the nose, to the cupid’s bow and the chin. Those however, are rather places for a creamy skin-tone concealer.

A Season of Entertaining

I love to share new entertaining inspo with you guys for each season, and as I searched for some summer ideas, I found a ton of inspiration from these new Anthropologie June arrivals. Spring is all about flowers and pastels, but as we near summer, I think this boho-chic dinner party is just the thing. All you need is a colorful table setting, cool lights, and some candles.

The Anthropologie Felixa runner adds a fun print and lots of color to the table. You could achieve the same look on a budget with a large boho-print scarf.

If you lack the outdoor space for this Moroccan-style setting, simply use your coffee table and some over-sized floor pillows.

Cafe lights and hanging lanterns add so much to a night time celebration, you can really save on decor by focusing on the mood lighting.

Of course, these lanterns can really add up. If you're on a budget, focus on one or a few centerpieces, clustering two to three lanterns together, then light up the rest of the party with string lights and inexpensive votives.
