KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to another Friday Finds! Can you guys believe it's the weekend before Thanksgiving?! Time has been flying by since we moved into our new home, and I'm miraculously keeping up with all of the PR samples and promos and photography. At KCL we've also passed 5K followers on Insta and have a huge giveaway featuring some of my favorite things...over $500 worth of faves (including this gorgeous red nail polish)! Next week's finds will be Black Friday deals, so there won't be the usual small shops featured, but that is to make way for my big Holiday Gift Guide that will be posted on Small Business Saturday! On today's finds, you get a sneak peek at one of the gift guide picks as well as some self-care bath and body goodies and some adorable ornaments to help you kick off your holiday decor. Enjoy!

The Daily Find: Penelope Jewelry Box

Mother's Day is just a week away. I've got a Mother's Day gift guide for 2016, but I'll be squeezing in more great gift ideas for mom everyday on The Daily Find. Today's pick is something any stylish mom would like - something pretty to store and display jewelry. The clear glass and metallic Penelope boxes at Pottery Barn are perfect to blend in with just about any decor. Pictured: Pottery Barn Penelope Jewelry Boxes

I like how they come in large and smaller options. Not everyone has the space for a large jewelry case, but we could all make room on a dresser or end table for a pretty little jewelry box to keep our everyday pieces.

  2. I knew an antiques/jewelry dealer who told me it's safer to keep jewelry in cosmetic bags or even ziplocks, because when there's a break in, the jewelry box is one of the first things burglars look for.
