25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. A little black dress is the easiest way to use what you have to create a Halloween costume with a few inexpensive accessories and other accessories you probably already have in your closet.Pictured Above: Halloween Black Mesh Dress

1. Black Cat - This is the easiest way to use your little black dress on Halloween. I know it's pretty much the most generic costume in history, but for good reason - it's just so easy and affordable. It's the perfect last-minute costume for women, because you could really use any black outfit even if you don't have a little black dress. Pair it with your black flats or heels and a…

New Flavors at Pei Wei Exclusively in Tulsa

I've lived in a lot of other places over the years, and after I moved back to Tulsa last summer, I soon remembered one of my favorite things about this city - the food! And after I met the man who would become my fiance, I've had the pleasure of eating out at so many yummy places during our weekly dates. This weekend we tried Pei Wei, and it has officially gone into our list of places we want to go back to.

Pei Wei has introduced a brand new menu, with 17 new items, available exclusively in all four of Pei Wei’s Tulsa-area locations. Menu additions include hand-selected ingredients chosen to maximize nutrition and flavor, incorporating a variety of Asian cuisines like Thai, Korean, Japanese, etc.

Part of the new updates at the Pei Wei locations in Tulsa includes a revamp of the interiors, reflecting a more modern feel with bright colors.

New dishes range from Japanese Steak & Shrimp Chile Ramen to the Southeast Asian flavors of the Thai Basil Chicken and Supergreen Thai Coconut Curry. I tried the new Supergreen Thai Coconut Curry and loved it. The flavors really came through, and the ingredients tasted so fresh.

My fiance and I were also very impressed by the variety on the menu. We were very happy to see items like won tons and sushi, as well as a full appetizer menu, in addition to all of the rice and noodle dishes. We tried the Teriyaki Crunch Roll and the Crab Won Tons.

And the price...it can't be beat! We got two entrees, an appetizer, two drinks, and an 8-piece sushi roll for about $36.00. Yeah, we're definitely going back there!

If you live in the Tulsa area, I highly suggest you give the new look and flavors of Pei Wei a try. You can view the full Tulsa menu here. Enjoy!

  3. I LOVE Pei Wei! We have one here in Boulder - I wonder if they've revamped their menu as well? The cost is so great for the quality of food :)

    1. From what I understand, the new noodle and rice bowl flavors are being introduced here in Tulsa first. I'm not sure when they're supposed to hit the rest of their locations. Still a lot of yummy items regardless and yes...such great quality and affordable!:)
