Lancome Crescendo Peel Review

I hate to give another negative review, but I am not in the business of giving good product reviews simply because I received it for free. Earlier this year, I was given a full size sample of the new Lancome Crescendo Peel courtesy of Influenster and Lancome. I was excited to try it, because hey, I'm reaching my forties, so anti-aging skincare is important to me.

Snapshots from the Week

I hope your week is going well so far! I'm back at it full-time with my site and blogs, because while I love the Mary Kay products themselves and while yes, the consultant who recruited me was very polite, I did not care for a lot of the things that transpired after signing up. My concerns only grew more and more after doing further research on the company. I have a lot of things to say on the matter, which will go into a separate and very long post, but for now, here are the good things that brightened up my week.:)

My first date with my fiance, since the last roundup post, was a lunch date at the Jenks River Walk. It has a lovely outdoor area for strolling around, and there are plenty of nice restaurants.

We had lunch at Los Cabos. It was my first time to eat there, and I really liked it. Very yummy fajitas!

And despite my fiance's new work schedule that we're adjusting to, he still sneaked in a romantic date night at home, stopping by on the way home to pick up some beautiful flowers and some dinner (which he made for me).:)

Last night we squeezed in some more time together, stopping by Starbucks then Barnes and Noble. Yes, we sometimes get coffee there before we head into Barnes and Noble haha. He wanted to get me to gold on the Starbucks star rewards program, and I like the coconut milk cappuccinos, which I can't get at Barnes and Noble.

We've taken to relaxing there together with some coffee and magazines...a ritual which I used to do alone and am very happy to now enjoy with him.:) I think having an enriched life is all about balance in that sometimes you don't have as much time (or may not have as much money) for certain things, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying what you can do in the moment...like a short but fun and relaxing trip to Barnes and Noble on a busy weeknight, or a nice lunch date if you don't have time for dinner and a movie.

That being said, he is spoiling me with a nice hotel stay this weekend, and we're taking the kids to see a movie this week as well.

You guys have a great week!:)
