KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! I am super excited to share some new Friday Finds with you! It's a bit of a mix, as we all seem to be anticipating Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas all at once now. Though I'm trying my hardest to live in the moment with pumpkins and autumn decor. I know after Halloween, everyone will be all about Christmas, but we should slow down and enjoy the harvest decor up to Thanksgiving, don't you think? As always, there are a few printables in the mix for last-minute decor, as well as some products for my fellow wine lovers, and some more awesome discounts that were created just for you Friday Finds readers!! 🙂🍂 So you know the drill, grab a cup of coffee and sit down for a break, so you can relax and browse these amazing shops.

First let's kick things off with this week's featured candle. I just have to feature a candle each week. It's the perfect season to cozy up with a good book and flickering candle light. A scented candle is also th…

Snapshots from the Week

Hey! :) I hope your week is going well so far. I had a lovely weekend with my fiance, and we squeezed in quite a few dates this past week. Though we're engaged and living together (and enjoy many evenings watching T.V. from the couch), going out for dates is still as important to us as it was when we met. How did I get so lucky?

Date night calls for a manicure update and my favorite off the shoulder top. I finally took a break from my Essie polish and used this Sinful Colors in Aubergine. The off the shoulder top, as you may be wondering, is from Target. It's no longer available, but you can browse similar cold-shoulder tops here >.

Date-night dinner was courtesy of Pei Wei this week, as they wanted me to taste test one of their new flavors that are available exclusively in the Tulsa locations. You can see the full post on that here >.

There are so many great movies out this month. We went to Warren Theater in Broken Arrow for five dollar Wednesday to see the new Ghostbusters. Seriously, if you live in the area, take advantage of this offer! Only $5 admission to their downstairs theaters, which does include some theaters with the big comfy recliners. And their regular folding seats are still very comfortable as well. We also saw the new Star Trek movie at AMC. That was a very good movie of course.

We took some time to go birthday shopping for one of our daughters. I can't believe she is turning 12 this week. And who works so hard and makes a budget so that my daughter can have a lot of great presents for her birthday? My amazing fiance, that's who.

Upon browsing around Woodland Hills Mall, I realized just how much they've changed since I worked there a very long time ago. I hadn't been back in years until earlier this summer, because I only just moved back to town last year. I was very happy to see that there is now an ALDO, Sephore, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, etc. So many pretty shops. And my favorite place in the food court is by far Charley's Philly Steaks. Yum!!

Yesterday we saw Light's Out. I love that my fiance likes to watch scary movies too. I have a teensy bit of an obsession with horror films. This one was definitely a good one. Highly recommended!

Tonight I assume we'll be snuggled on the couch with some popcorn and beer, watching a few of our latest show addictions - Zoo and Dead of Summer. Enjoy the rest of your week! :)

  1. $5 Wednesdays?! I need to check that out. I haven't been to the Warren theater yet. Always love reading your posts because I usually learn something about Tulsa. Hasn't Woodland changed?! I love it even if I don't love the traffic around it.

    1. Yes! You should totally check out Warren! :) We love it. And yeah...definitely don't love the traffic around Woodland ha, but they've made it worth the hassle with the nice shops.

  4. One of our favorite theaters has $6 Tuesdays. A real bargain, even for those like us who prefer watching movies at home.
